  1. 12 (I have to prep them on my own) cost me around $10 from the cooler at the grocery. I have started going directly to the butcher counter and they are half the price. A little bit smaller but pre cut so I get some extra. Haven’t gotten close to $10 for 15 wings , usually $7

Trader Joe’s has around 15 or more wings in their frozen section

  3. Bruh, where I live most places it’s at least $2 a wing.

It’s crazy how much wings are in the Bay Area. Are there still places that do the 50 cent/wing deals?

I’d kill for $15 pounds right about now. In my city, most places are over $20 now.

  6. they cost the restaurant close to $1 each so no. invest in a deep fryer.

i use to be the guy that ordered wings everywhere i went

didnt matter the restaurant , id always order them as a starter

however , the over last couple of years , i slowed and eventually stopped because the cost has simply surpassed the “value” of what they are.

i get that wholesale for wings are high ( you can get them for 2.60- $3lb wholesale) but , not to the point that some places want to charge $15-$20 pound (which is approx 8 wings give or take 1)

wings use to be a loss leader , and could certainly still be , but that seemingly no longer the case. in fact , i dont know that ANY establishment has a loss leader any longer. Fries?? nope. $8-$10 for a basket of fries

    wild times

Right now at my local 7/11 they do 10 wings 10 wedges for 13$. It’s a great deal imo. Otherwise I hit up Walmart where they discount the deli wings down to like 5$. I’ll grab 2 packs and throw them in the freezer

I make them myself I made 30 wings for 8 dollars the other day

Absolute best value is Publix. Breaded fried wings are $16 for 20, and they’re massive. Like the shoulder drum portion of the wing is the size of an average drumstick.

    Go on wing night.

I’m in Canada, and I get a pound for $8.99 on mondays, or $7.50 at another place. We go to both.

A pound is usually $13, and with fries is like $16.

I remember falling in love with wings on $0.10 wing night years ago

I literally did that today. In all fairness I was hammered and waiting an hr for a supercut in Indiana-OMG I need to change my life….

  15. I get the 18 pack and just bust them down between drums and flats and set the tips aside for my dog

I almost hate to give this away, but Chicken drumsticks are like 1.99/lb

If you specifically seek small ones, you are getting dark meat on drumsticks like meaty wings for almost no money.

they fry up the exact same way.

Those wings look just like Buffalo wild wings buffalo sauce wings. Congrats! They look amazing

Wings will be wings. Still cheapest at home. However, to me the most important part is the “sauce” to really make it into a complete package or the real wings. I’ve tried different sauces from the store such as BBW and other but they were not that great. I just can’t seem to mimic or get the sauces from pizzahut or Wingstop. . I really like the garlic Parmesan and the hot sauces of Pizza Hut and Wingstop but don’t know where to buy these sauces. Anyone know how to get close to Pizza Hut and Wingstop?

I still remember 25 cent wing Wednesdays at a nearby bar.
