I think I have the same recipe book… there are some pretty bad ones in there.

I love peanut butter but this sounds awful.

African peanut stew is a thing.

Just sounds like chicken with spicy peanut sauce? I would make that!

Honestly, the word “zesty” feels very appropriate here. It’s probably less terrible than it sounds, but the odds are that the rest of my family would hate it and I don’t want to waste 5 lbs of chicken.

For a Barb Yoder from Angola, Indiana, I’m kind of impressed.

I’m going to make that today. Mildly curious.

Just guessing from the last name Yoder in Indiana that the author is Amish….but that is unlike any dish I’ve ever seen from around here.

I can get behind a peanut chicken but the tomato throws me off. Canned jalapeno is a downer too.

I would try this. Looks like a crock pot recipe for a version of Thai or southern Asian peanut chicken. Add a tbls of soy sauce, a little more liquid to thin out the sauce and serve over noodles
One time my friend convinced me to try a chicken sandwich with peanut butter on it. I thought I would hate it for sure, but it was actually really good. The combo reminded me of Asian noodles with peanuts.

I feel challenged by this but I wonder what it tastes like
