My husband and I have been together for 5 years. In the beginning of our relationship- I was vegetarian, and made the switch to vegan in the beginning of our relationship. My partner is an Omni, but he considers himself a “plant-based enthusiast” and we eat primarily plant based at home.
He has said one of his reasons for not going fully vegan is that he doesn’t feel full or satiated after plant-based meals, and meat fills him up. Obviously I have tried to introduce him to different types of tofu, but he strongly dislikes most forms of tofu because of the texture. So… pretty much the way most traditional tofu dishes are made (think stereotypical “chunks”).
We recently stayed at a vegetarian bed and breakfast, and after mentioning to our host that he did not like tofu, our host took it as a personal challenge to come up with tofu-based meals that he would like.
Here were the two winners: tofu Benedict, and tofu egg-less salad. Since then I have also made tofu scramble and a blended silken tofu pasta dish, which were both hits. But I am on the hunt for more dishes that he may like, so please send me your top contestants! 🫶🏼

I personally like some tofu dishes from It Doesn’t Taste Like Chicken. Also I make a mean tofu scramble that is similar to paneer bhurji but uses tofu and some Indian spices.
Silken tofu in smoothies. Not a meal, but helpful to get extra protein in my day
Silken tofu chocolate mousse!
I dont mind “raw” tofu but i always crisp ot up in the airfryer or on a pan to give it a crunch. Also smoked tofu is my prefered go-to kind.
Grated tofu with spices, spread on a baking sheer and baked in the oven for a crunchy texture – great to put in a wrap or for a topping.
I blend tofu and soy cream with some herbs and spices and make a white pasta sauce.
Get the Thug Kitchen recipe book and look up their tofu ricotta ravioli.

Protein Deficient Vegan makes a tofu “mayo” for this [chickpea salad](https://proteindeficientvegan.com/recipes/creamy-no-mayo-chickpea-salad) that is insanely good and remarkably easy. Lots of other great recipes too!
“Chicken” parm.
Have to freeze the extra firm tofu after draining, thaw in fridge or counter, then press. Cut in half from the side (to make 2 thin pieces) then cut those in half so u have 4 pieces (can round edges to make look more like chicken breasts). Coat & fry using whatever egg substitute u prefer.
Getting as much water out, making the tofu thinner, and then frying it in oil combine to make a crispy, firm texture that really works.
Grated tofu with lots of spices baked in the oven, finished with BBQ sauce. Can be used like pulled pork or inside tacos
