Transferring my egg I found that my gasket has worn out at the very back. I’m still on my first one in almost five years of egghood, so I was due.

One thing to keep in mind: regularly check the part of the table under the pot… a friend of mine saw the the pot did get warm and eventually burned a hole through the wood. He resolved it by using a slab of different – hard-wood. Alternatively use a big tile…
