I am a collector of recipe boxes. I have about 9 now. I acquired a set of five that have a great collection of recipe cards full of handwritten recipes! $35 and a hug later from the seller, I am elbow deep in pulling out recipes to start trying!
I’ve ran into an issue where I don’t understand what one ingredient is and I was hoping you could help. I tried google but they’re trying to make these cookies “healthier” and I don’t think Mary Jean (who was this recipe card came from, from dear Evelyn’s box) intended..

Question: 2/3 c of what? To me it looks like “Sprinkle Sweet or Sug on Twin” but I’m googling that and it’s giving me baby sprinkles.

Banana Oatmeal cookies – from people advertising
    2/3 cup mashed bananas
    2 eggs
    2/3 ???
    1/4 c milk
    1 t soda
    1/4 t salt
    1 t cinnamon
    1 c flour
    1/2 c oleo
    2 c quick cook oats
1 c raisins (soaked in hot water + drained)
    1 c nuts
    Bake at 375 12-15 minutes.

I plan on baking them and then reporting bake with changes! But I still need help figuring out the ingredient.

  2. I believe both are artificial sugars. Sprinkle Sweet and Sugar Twin are the sugar names.

It’s artificial sweetener, and not the new, not-so-nasty stuff. And a LOT of it! YUCK!

I suggest the same amount of brown sugar instead of that.
