Are you doing an in store pickup? I would have refused it and demanded a different one

I’d returned it right away back to delivery guy if it arrived like that.

Refuse anything in a box that badly destroyed.

magnetized screwdriver. there’s some hard to get to places that a good magnetized screwdriver is essential. also, don’t throw away the spacer thing between the hopper and barrel.

I can only speak from experience. Camp Chef service folks are really understanding. Mine came like that…. I called. They sent me a parts list and I sent back a damaged parts list. Along the way, they even offered to send me a NEW one And all I would have to do with the old one was donate it to my local police or fire department. Noble play, Camp Chef, noble play. Parts received and it’s been smoking perfectly for over 2 years. Document everything and call. Super nice folks.

Maybe unpopular opinion. Is there actual damage to the grill? There’s lots of styroform and carboard. If not, it’s should be good.

Their customer service is solid. I love my woodwind pro.

When I got my Grilla Silverbac the box had a bunch of damage but the grill was fine and no damage at all. It’s being working fine for over 3 years.

Use your best judgement of course. Happy grilling! I was super excited to get my initial burn in done!

I would buy some white sliced bread. Get the cheapest you can find. After the burn in place it all around the grill and let it toast to find any hot spots.

Mine arrived in better shape, but one of the leg mounts was still deformed. Um oh applied. Running strong.
