4 cups water

1 tsp salt

🥄 Steps

1. Boil water

In a big pot, boil 4 cups of water.

Add 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp oil (this keeps pasta from sticking).

2. Cook pasta

Add pasta to boiling water.

Stir occasionally and cook for 8–10 minutes (until soft but not mushy).

3. Drain water

Strain the pasta in a sieve/colander.

Save a little pasta water (½ cup) – it makes sauces creamier.

4. Add sauce

In a pan, heat some oil or butter.

Add garlic, onion, veggies or chicken (optional).

Mix in your sauce (tomato puree, white sauce, or cheese).

Add the cooked pasta and toss well.

5. Serve hot

Garnish with cheese, chili flakes, or oregano.
