    Kålpølse: A boiled smoked sausage.

Brunede kartofler: Boiled potatoes cooked in a caramel sauce made of sugar, butter, cream, water and salt.

Grønlangkål: Chopped and steamed kale cooked in butter, cream, boiling water from the sausages and salt.

    Sennep: Medieval mustard.

language is fascinating because that’s a lot of words for sausage and mustard

    Looks delicious!

I had a Dutch dish with the same ingredients, minus the mustard, which is mashed potatoes and kale, and a smoked sausage.
