* Fettuccine pasta
* Butter (2 tbsp)
* Flour (1 tbsp)
* Heavy cream (200 ml)
* Parmesan cheese (1 cup)
* Fresh parsley (2 tbsp)

Boil your fettuccine pasta in salted water for about 8–10 minutes until al dente. Drain and keep one cup of the pasta water aside.
In a large pan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter. Add 1 tablespoon of flour and whisk until smooth. Pour in 200 ml of heavy cream, stirring continuously. Season with salt and black pepper. If the sauce gets too thick, add a splash of pasta water.
Once the sauce is smooth, add 1 cup of grated Parmesan cheese and stir until creamy. Mix in 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley.
Finally, add the drained fettuccine pasta, toss well until every strand is coated with the sauce, and serve hot. Garnish with extra parsley on top.
