  1. Argyle Winery SpiritHouse Knudsen Vineyard Pinot Noir 2016, Dundee Hills, Oregon

A beautiful color of ruby red with medium intensity.

Fresh red berries on the nose with light oak, spices and chocolate notes.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with cherries, currants, light wood, chocolates, herbs, light red candy, spices and light green tea.

Long finish with fine grained tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a delicious Pinot Noir from Oregon. Elegant and rich. Fresh and easy drinking right out of the bottle. Fruit forward and complex.

This 9 year old Single Vineyard Pinot Noir feels very fresh tasting but complex. Drank from a Magnum, so it might have been a little different.

Wil continue to age nicely in the next 10 to 15 years. Would be nice to revisit it in 5 years.

A great sipping wine that will pair nicely with food too.

Pinot Noir grapes were aged for 16 months in (40% new) French oak barrels.

    14.1% alcohol by volume.

    92 points.

    $165 (Magnum).

16 was a fantastic year in the valley and Knudsen vineyard has some of the best fruit in the Dundee hills. Great find!!

Oregon Pinot is so bitter with a nasty after taste. Most overhyped region

Love their sparkling but their Pinot is good too!
