Von Stiehl Winery’s Wet Whistle Wine Fest, a fundraiser for Community Improvement of Algoma and Algoma Fire and Rescue, returns Sept. 19 and 20 to American Legion Park, 617 2nd St. in Algoma.
Weekend activities include grape stomps, wine tastings, food and live music. Attendees often arrive in costume. Those under 21 must be accompanied by an adult.
The festival takes place on Friday, Sept. 19, 5-9 pm and Saturday, Sept. 20, 10 am – 6 pm. On Friday, admission is free, and Rocker provides live music.
On Saturday, admission costs $10. Children under 12 enter free. Fork in the Road plays live music 10 am – 1:30 pm, followed by Conscious Pilot 2-6 pm. Grape stomps are scheduled throughout the day, and attendees can participate in a scavenger hunt through Sunday, Sept. 21.
