

I started in kitchens nearly 20 years ago, and at the time these were quite a popular alternative to wedding cakes.
We did always notice though, there was always so much cheese untouched.
So did you have one? How did it go down with your guests? Would you do it again, or if your about to get wed, would you consider this instead?
Don't ask me what the cheese are. I took this photo nearly 20 years ago. Apart from the Yarg, I've got no idea now.

I was just thinking I wish I had, but we had 12 guests at my wedding, so it would have been a huge waste of cheese.

We did, and massively over catered (think it served 75 but we had 35 guests). It was 5 layers, all local cheese to where we married.
Cut it and sent everyone home with a mini cheeseboard, and we ate brie for about a week afterwards. 10/10, would cheese again.
