Can someone please try this and tell me what it tastes like. I don’t want to waste tofu

YES.
Real mayonnaise is trash & the devil, as is veganaise. This is the only acceptable mayo substitute and I am delighted to see it on a sub on reddit.
Nasoya used to make Nayonaise which was essentially this recipe, but discontinued it. Now we must make it at home. Bookmarking this 10/10 infographic.

What’s the purpose of sugar here? To neutralize the beany taste of tofu?

I’m super interested in this, but wary since I’ve been trying to find a good substitute for mayo. Do you think adding some msg and nutritional yeast might help make this more mayo-like?
Edited to add I’m wary because I’ve been trying lots of off the shelf alternatives and they all have been pretty disappointing!
