This beautiful freeloader stopped by. She pollinates the zinnias, but I know her kids are plotting against my dill.
Female(?) Black Swallowtail. Absolutely stunning. The shadow she cast on the ground while flying overhead was awesome. A welcome visit for the experience alone in my book.

Just make sure to plant a few more dill, carrots, fennel, and parsley to share with the babies. Individually they don’t eat much.
