I've been making and keeping a library of my own index cards for all my recipes, and hopefully one day I can leave my kids or grandkids then. It's something so simple but I love that my gpa's recipes still live on.

So curious, what’s in the bread (if willing to share). Outside of the cool “color”, the rest of it looks so awesome too! 🤤

Looks fantastic! I have about 8 index files of my great grandmother’s recipes that I need to sort through – – she collected so many ‘back of box’ and newspaper recipes from the early to mid 20th century in addition to recipes from friends and neighbors.

My mom used to make a pistachio cake and her recipe is pretty much identical lol. She made a pistachio frosting for it. I need to make this bread version and freak her out!
