For me it’s the Mango Habanero at Bdubs. Sometimes it’s so mild it’s genuinely disappointing because it is really sweet. I LOVE sweet and spicy, but only if it packs a punch. But sometimes even a few of them gets the the runny nose and sweats going heavily. It’s so insanely inconsistent for me. What’s your pick?

  1. We need to bring back the original mango habanero sauce from Bdubs

BW Asian Zing. Sometimes sugar sweet, sometimes serious heat.

I had some mango habanero wings in South Georgia that had me coughing and drained my sinuses entirely. Sweet baby rays mango habanero is perfect mix of spice and sweetness.

Dave’s Reaper chicken. Can either be really hot but bearable or so hot it’s like eating the lava from a volcano.

Used to work at a local food production facility. Made a variety of different sauces for local distribution, 3000 gallons at a time. I was in charge of measuring spices for these batches, which occasionally included concentrated capsicum.

On the side of it there would always be some info that gave you the relative heat level because with something that hot it would always differ slightly from batch to batch. There was some simple math to determine how much I needed based on the recipe and the numbers on the 5 gallon bucket of capsicum. 3000 gallons of salsa might use 1.2 pounds of heat one day but then the next capsicum container would only require .9 pounds.

I have always been confused how national chains handling their own internal manufacturing and distribution of sauces/dips, or the nationally prominent bw3 sauces in the picture can’t maintain consistency between lot codes.

Tobasco did this to me, I had one a couple months ago that had me leaking. Never had that from tobasco before. I’ve gone through gallons. It’s honestly probably just people in the factory that don’t give a fuck anymore and aren’t using accurate measurements or mixing it properly. Could also be non consistent ingredients they get in

This sauce actually packs a decent punch after about 5-6 wings. Great flavor too, it’s my fav from bdubs!

  8. Hot Hungarian Wax is like jalapeños, could be completely harmless, or could turn your colon into a train wreck. That’s the charm hahaha
