Butter and Mayo with a little onion and celery. About a full 1lb lobster that I shelled.

For me a split top bun that’s toasted with a bit of butter really adds to the experience. Not to hate on round buns. Everyone knows that a hot dog and bun are the ergonomically efficient method for having a balanced meal. That applies to a well made lobster roll too.
The torpedo shape allows for the toasty buttered roll and the rolling wave of buttery warm, or chilled and well accommodated lobster chunks to neatly find their way into the participants waiting maw. Don’t ever hate a lobster roll, they are all sought after for their uniqueness.

But for me the long and narrow bun is most prized.

Don’t even get me started on a BLT or club!
