Yo, what’s going on my lovely people of the internet? It’s your boy Jordan back with another cooking video. Today we’re going to be making some teriyak chicken stir fry. We’re going to start by cutting up our vegetables, some garlic, some bell peppers, and some onions. You can kind of use whatever you got. This is what I had on hand and need to get rid of. Next, we’re going to take our chicken. I like to clean mine, then pat it dry. We’re going to put some simple seasonings. So, we’re going to do salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and then some black pepper. I use the butcher kind cuz I like a little bit of a thicker pepper on there. Um, and next we’re going to take some salt, put in our water so the rice doesn’t stick. Make sure to salt your water. Next, we’re going to take the broccoli. I’m using frozen, so I’m going to put a little bit of water in there to steam it. I’m going to throw the garlic, the bell peppers, and the onions in. Let it all steam together. And then I’m actually going to sauté it at the end in the pan that I do the chicken in. So next we’re going to take a cup of rice. We’re going to do two cups of water. So every cup of rice, you add two cups of water. We’re going to give that a stir to make sure it doesn’t stick. And then we’re going to make sure our oil is heated up. Um make sure it’s moving around the pan really easy. You can throw a piece of rice in there. See if it um sizzles. And then if it does, you’re good to go. And put our chicken in there. And we’re going to put some teriyak marinade in our rice while it boils to season it some. And then we’re going to take our chicken once it’s fully cooked through, juicy, and has a nice little sear on the outside, take it off, cut it up, and then we’re going to put our veggies in the pan with our chicken sauté, and then throw some teriyak sauce on there.
