Best year by far for my peppers and Scotch bonnet still going strong 💪🏾
3rd year Scotch in the big pot, thinking about overwintering the rest including sweet pepper as the plants already a beast.
Anyone had any luck overwintering pepper plants ? Done it with Scotch ovbs but never sweet pepper.

I have overwintered my Aji lemons, that is a capsium baccatum of course but it does work well.
It isn’t worth trying to overwinter everything necessarily.

You can use one you over winter to make cuttings in March. You just wait till it has a few good sections of new growth then take them to make new plants. These will still be faster to take off than using seedlings next summer. The overwintered one will recover as well.

I am working on overwintering my bonnets and little loco this year. I can bring them inside to a windowsil though so it is easier.
I would pick your best to over winter and if they are not good dont worry too much,
If you have any dodgy ones you can just chop them right back to 15/20cm or so then not worry if they come back or not.
