Mayonnaise dipping sauce, cheese on the broccoli… this all seems pretty unnecessary for a simple meal that should have pretty balanced macros.

    Don’t eat what’s “necessary”, eat what’s good

Well a half chicken is about 800-1000 calories so that’s 400-500 there, tablespoon of mayo is about 100, 8 oz potatoes is 150, 1/8 cup monterey jack is 50, sounds like they want you to use probably half a tablespoon of oil which is 60, then half a tablespoon of butter which is 50. Then there’s the smoky mustard and honey dijon, maybe 30 and 100. I would say it’s probably closer to 950-1050. I count calories so I usually end up checking their math as best I can and it’s usually a bit off. Unless each serving gets half a chicken? I’ve never gotten this one but that would make more sense for 1400.

Yeah the calories are accurate. It sucks that it’s so high but it is what it is.

Also, the picture shows 1/4 chicken and the description says 1/2 so depending what you actually got in the kit, it could be accurate or not.

Looks pretty good, what week was this on? Don’t remember seeing it.
    Was it premium?

Looking forward to the pear half chicken in a few weeks.
