I could never in a million years get this many uniform slices out of a loaf without one.

Naaa, I chill the bread a bit after baking in the fridge then it’s super easy to cut with a good knife.

This video doesn’t really make me want a slicer at all. Like this would be a pretty trivial loaf to slice for home use. If you are slicing a ton for selling I get it though.

Fully agree… but how many slice as needed vs slicing the whole loaf. I try to only slice when I want it so it stays fresher.
It’s fantastic and takes up a tiny space in my lazy Susan.

Do you NEED them to be that uniform? If you have a business, sure, but for home use I think it0s overkill. You will hardly ever need so many slices with such a critical need for uniformity that you cannot allow yourself to just use a bread knife and a a couple mor eminuts in total

Needing help with slicing is presently the only thing preventing my sons from consuming loaves in their entirety in one sitting.

Claims slicer is awesome…doesn’t show slicer. Brilliant! (B4 you get offended, just talkin a little shit, poking fun at you, I own a deli slicer because it’s fucking awesome and useful for tons of stuff).
Alternatively, you can do what my wife did…became a bakery manager…now she just takes her freshly baked loaves to work and slices em for freeeee! Big Bread Slicer hates this one simple trick…
