Amazing spot for Sunday Roasts. I was solo tonight and have an early work engagement and jet lag so I just went with a glass of Rioja this time. Assuming I get to come back with company what would you order from this list?

It’s not a list where anything jumps out as a must-try, even if all the wines are fairly solid. Especially with a restaurant markup, given that they’re all easy to find for half the price or less.
But in any case, Chateau Gloria is a nice Bordeaux in its price range, Romitorio Brunello the same. That Mount Langi Shiraz is good too, balanced and not a massive jammy red like other Aussie Shiraz.

That Light Red Grenache sounds interesting. I’m crushing that.

If I were there I would definitely order the chiara boschis pira e figli barolo mosconi It is on the fruity side for a barolo but really nice and not as commercial like fontanafredda or produttori del barbaresco If you open a bottle like this in a restaurant I would advise you to let them pour it into a carafe/ decanter because it needs a few moments at the air before it gets really tasty

Arbois Trousseau for me. Love most Jura wines, reds and whites, all delicious and very good friendly. Domaine rolet here is pretty entry level I believe but affordable and should be very enjoyable.
castlerigger
Chateau gloria, sociando mallet or the crozes hermitage

By the way, not familiar with most of this list so will look into finding recs outside of dining. Thanks in advance!

I love a barbaresco with a roast.

Can you bring your own?
This wine list is so unnecessarily long with essentially same wines.

I’d go for the 2019 Brunello. Should go nicely with a Sunday roast!

Honestly, probably the primitivo. Easy crowd pleaser for the Sunday roast.

Trousseau. The serralunga is just too young as is the Produttori. But man what a list! Where is this?
