CULLMAN, Ala. — Jubilee Coffee and Wine Bar will host a German inspired Menu event for the public on Monday, Sept. 29 at 5:30 p.m. Jubilee Owner Katie Nelms Fine said this menu is really exciting because they are collaborating with Birmingham-based chef Ben Reed.

“Ben brings both creativity and expertise to the table, and his passion for cooking shines through in every dish,” Fine said. “Guests will enjoy a thoughtfully prepared German-inspired menu featuring classics such as Maultaschen (German ravioli) Veal Rouladen paired with carefully selected German wines. To make the evening even more engaging, Chef Ben will personally introduce each course and share the inspiration behind his creations.”

Fine shared that the idea grew out of their desire to celebrate Cullman’s German roots in a way that felt authentic and festive.

“Since we already host monthly wine dinners, Oktoberfest inspired us to create a unique twist — pairing German wines with traditional German flavors and highlighting a specially selected German beer,” Fine said. “It’s both a nod to our community’s heritage and an opportunity to give our guests a fresh, memorable experience. While we host monthly wine dinners, this will be our very first German-themed dining experience, pairing authentic German dishes with specially selected German wines.”
