I’ve order repeatedly from a new Mexican/Laos food truck in my area, and wether I order a bahn mi, birria egg rolls, or anything else, I always ask for extra jalapeños or hot sauce. Their food is absolute fire. One of the best mahn mi, amazing mexican fusion appetizers, just an absolute chefs kiss of a food truck.
Today, the owner handed me a cup of hot sauce and said his mom made it this morning and he was hoping I would come in so I could try it. 1/4” of this on a fry will make me sweat.
I am on fire and in love.😍

Their bahn mi, or as they call it, a “bahn may.” (One of the owners name’s is May.)
This is the sandwich I seek out whenever I travel, and this is 100% in my top 3.
They serve it cold, which is unexpectedly incredible, but I’m gonna try it toasted next to decide if it’s my #1.
Looks fire, must be salsa de chile de árbol. It’s yummy!
Lesson learned – do not bother with ghost pepper/etc if it’s real – it’s outside of good into pain
Loved reading this. And that sauce looks great.
Where is this area
A mexican/laotion food truck? Please tell me more!
There is almost never anything better than the house hot sauce, and you got his Mom’s sauce?! I know that was amazing!
I always enjoy when a hot sauce is actually hot to me
*Banh, bahn is train in German. I used to make that mistake all the time.
Drop the name of the Mexican Laotian food truck. Wherever it is I’ll go there
