I love creating these boards and tables. The imposter syndrome constantly creeps up though of ‘people won’t pay for this’ or ‘it’s really not good’

Has anyone who does this professionally ever had to get past this same feeling?

No, you need more practice. Make some more and send a couple my way for a taste test.

No, but seriously, that looks amazing, and I’d definitely pay for something of this quality!! 🙂

  2. Looks very nice. You need to check your market and see if it makes sense financially. Too many crackers for me. You barely have any prosciutto. Nice that you have different fruits.

This is professional looking to me

I you decide to do it professionally – then maybe take a YouTube lesson in photoshop so you can take great photos and brighten them up – your board looks amazing but the dullness of the pic makes it seem boring… 😊

Literally everyone on the planet can do this, why would anyone go into business making boards.

I don’t understand why they say it’s not professional. It’s much more professional than many that claim to be.

Looks lovely, but do you know license requirements in your area for food prep? I’d start there because there’s often education and inspections needed to ensure you’re food safe. Some states might want you to use a ghost kitchen for prep etc. That’s where I’d suggest starting beyond just how it looks

Your board looks lovely! In addition to ensuring your pricing covers the overhead, I second the recommendation to check your market.

    – Is it saturated with others providing similar services?
    – Could you carve out a niche for yours, like adding a theme, a unique color scheme, or non-edible items to differentiate yourself?
    – Can you offer it for cheaper than others in your area, or faster?

Hell yeah!!! Amazing, but you need a bigger board!! 😂

Personally, it could do with a little bit more organization, mostly cuz right now it does look a little bit messy, but if there’s a market for it, I say go for it.

    Proud of you for that.

For the life of me, I’m not that artistic and I’m in culinary. I just don’t make my food pretty or understand the dynamic of organizing food in such a manner.

Grape bunches need to have 3-5 grapes max. Somebody gonna stand there and handle the entire bunch just to get a few? Ew.

    Looks lovely.

For the community- Why is everyone trying to break into the charcuterie board making business? Is there that much demand?

I think it’s absolutely beautiful. Definitely would say do it professionally!
Curious…Probably a stupid question but how do you store these or transport them to people‘s homes without them going awry?? Or do you bring the items and set them up in the home or event space.?

If you don’t end up doing just pre-made boards, you could always create a charcuterie cart and either do pre-determined sets they can choose from or a build-your-own-board option from the ingredients you have on the cart. I saw a woman on IG who did this exact thing and rented it out to parties. From how much her life seemed to change, it was pretty lucrative.
