    Ignore the haters. I’d definitely give this a try.

    One caveat – since sockeye is usually wild-caught, I’d want to make sure it had been frozen at a temperature low enough to kill parasites before I served it raw like that.

    I hope that was previously frozen… As someone who has worked in a high-end fish market for 3 years, please please never eat wild salmon fresh and raw. Either make sure it was frozen for a week first or cook it all the way through. There are so many worms in nearly all wild fish
