I’m not too big on Habanero sauces and my spice tolerance is not the best, but just ordered this…how screwed am I?

To whomever is downvoting: get a fuckin life bro. People come to this sub from all levels of spicy, just because you don’t think it’s spicy enough for this sub doesn’t mean you can downvote brigade it.

It’s good I just think there are better hot sauces out there. My habanero go to has been El Yucateco Red for nearly 20years now.

Melinda’s sauces are chronically underpowered, so given your tolerance you might love it. This, and their relative ubiquity on shelves everywhere, make them a good entry level choice for moving up the heat scale.
But be careful…I’ve always been routinely disappointed with Melinda’s flavors. They are the Kettle Chips of the hot sauce world; they simply try to do too much and have too many varieties, most of which are ass, or taste the same as all the others. That’s a lot of disappointing, dirty ass.
The one’s that are based on a single or simple flavor are always much, much better than when they try and get too fancy/complicated/etc. I’m told their ghost pepper sauce is great, and their habanero honey mustard is really nice. Their mango habanero sauce is the worst hot sauce I’ve ever had.

My favorite of their hot sauces is the ghost pepper one. The red savina is similar to it in heat but I didn’t like the flavor very much. I have put it on like a boneless chicken bite and ate it no problem, eating multiple is when it gets super hot

I love mixing it with mayo.
