Sixty Vines and Jorge Ordóñez Selections Partner to Bring Spain's Iconic Wines to Taps NationwideDallas, TX  (RestaurantNews.com)  Sixty Vines, the restaurant known for transporting guests to wine country, is proud to announce an exclusive partnership with Jorge Ordóñez Selections, a family-owned Spanish wine producer. Together, they are introducing three iconic Spanish wines on tap at Sixty Vines locations nationwide: La Caña Albariño, Nisia Verdejo, and Triton Tinta de Toro.

Founded in 1987, Jorge Ordóñez Selections was the first national specialty importer dedicated to Spanish wines, paving the way for Spain to be recognized as one of the world’s fine wine regions. With a philosophy rooted in celebrating Spain’s ancient vineyards, indigenous grape varieties, and multi-millennial history of winemaking. Today, under the leadership of Monica and Victor Ordóñez, Jorge’s children, the company is advancing its mission to bring Spain’s most distinctive wines to North America.

“With a mission to introduce the U.S. market to Spain’s world-class varietals, we’re honored to share our family estate wines in the innovative keg format that Sixty Vines is championing at the highest level,” said Monica Ordóñez, Co-Owner of Jorge Ordóñez Selections. “The varietals and terroirs we represent are unparalleled, but their true beauty lies in the balance and accessibility of style they deliver. The keg format reinforces that spirit of accessibility, bringing wines like La Caña, Nisia, and Triton directly to the glass as fresh as when they leave the vineyard.”

The three wines highlight Spain’s diversity, including:

La Caña Albariño (Rías Baixas) – Evoking the coastal reeds and grasses (“cañas”) of Galicia, this wine reflects the Atlantic influence of one of Spain’s most unique climates.
Nisia Verdejo (Rueda) – Born from century-old, phylloxera-resistant bush-trained vines, Nisia pays tribute to the rare surviving vineyards that stand resilient like islands in a sea of lost viticulture.
Triton Tinta de Toro (Toro) – Crafted from Spain’s oldest clone of Tempranillo, this bold, structured wine embodies power and depth, rooted in sandy soils once covered by ancient seas.

“Sixty Vines has always been about bringing the best of wine countries from around the world straight to our taps,” said Jeff Carcara, CEO of Sixty Vines. “Partnering with Jorge Ordóñez Selections lets us share the story of Spanish wines in a fresh way. Kegging these wines keeps them at their best and gives our guests a more approachable and sustainable way to experience them.”

An innovative restaurant brand with a commitment to sustainability, each Sixty Vines location has a 60-tap wine system that creates an eco-friendly approach to wine service and offers the closest “from the barrel” tasting experience in hospitality. One keg holds 26 bottles of wine and can be reused 1,500 times, significantly reducing packaging waste and environmental impact.
