    I had mouettes with lemon and Piment, the lemon gave kind of a metallic Taste. I have some belleiloise coming with lemon but im not optimistic, better to drizzle some fresh lemon on top of “vanilla” sardines i guess

    That’s a shame. I’ve had lemon sardines that were just divine. Fishwife makes a smackin’ lemon sardine.

  3. Hmm, I’ve found these to be grand. The lemon note is kinda light, but mild flavors in Spanish and Portuguese tins is the norm over there. Never caught a bitter flavor so far.

  4. I was disappointed, too. The lemon flavor was too weak for me.
