i would agree but its simply a preference thing for me – i like that sweet/spicy of bbm…buldak i can only handle like 1/4 of the sauce lol

Jin vs Shin I understand, but this is like comparing a tomato to a watermelon—while technically they’re both fruit, they’re on the other ends of the spectrum in terms of taste and flavor profile so it’s an odd comparison

this is an apples and oranges comparison. One is hot, the other is cold. one is meant to be savory and spicy, the other is supposed to be savory and tangy with spice, plus sweet. Even the expected toppings you added wouldn’t go on Buldak (fried egg).

they’re literally based on 2 different dishes.

A proper comparison would be between Paldo and nongshim. or the 3 or 4 different varieties of bibim naengmyeon they do.

You can have only 1 buldak, but I will scarf down 2 bibimmyun and refuse to feel guilty.

  5. Huh.. these two shouldn’t even be compared with one another lol they’re both good tho

What’s next, hamburger is better than hot dogs? They’re fundamentally different my guy, just cause they’re both meat in a bun doesn’t make it comparable

These noodles are supposed to be the instant version of bibim naengmyun, yes?

How does this compare to the more authentic version of that?

Buldak is its own weird animal.

Ooh I much prefer a thin noodle like this. I gotta ask my Asian market to get them in.

ive yet to find another ramen with better quality noodles than buldak.
might love the flavor but their noodles are too thin
