Got this at a thrift shop, and now I'm panicking that I might've bought a death trap… From the ceramic glaze possibly containing lead to electrical fires, I'm worried that my bargain might not have been worth it. It's a Montgomery Ward Crockery Slow Cooker VRF 46344. Needs a good clean but I can't find out when it was made.. it's all one piece too.

You can get lead testing strips online. I would definitely recommend.
If it has lead it’s not likely going to propagate unless it’s scratched/scraped up/ misused. I be far more concerned about silica if it were chipped.
I follow lead safe mama, and I also panic over “is this lead ridden?” . So solidarity, friend.
They said. Eat more garlic.
I use silicone liner in my crock, but I’m starting to distrust those too 😅
