Prezzo Italian has rebranded to Brava Hospitality Group with a view to expanding its the portfolio of the hospitality business.

Brava Hospitality Group will operate Prezzo Italian alongside a number of other restaurant brands that are yet to be announced.

James Brown, chief executive of Brava Hospitality Group, said: “As we look to the future, we knew it was time for a new group identity – one that reflects our ambition and gives us the foundation to grow. Brava is about ‘hospitality with heart’ – and building a portfolio of distinctive brands that people love. That started with Prezzo Italian.”

Earlier this year, Prezzo Italian underwent a brand transformation driven by Brown, who joined the business from Brewdog at the end of 2024.

Since the rebrand Prezzo Italian has reported like-for-like sales growth of 11% in Q3, while its six recently refurbished restaurants delivered an average of 50% growth compared to the prior year.

Prezzo Italian was established in 2000 and has 95 sites across the UK, employing nearly 1,900 workers.

The brand will remain a key focus for Brava Hospitality, with the group, alongside asset management firm Cain International, continuing to drive forward plans to refurbish 12 Prezzo Italian locations by the end of the year.

A further 40 restaurants are also planned for 2025, as well as other restaurant brands, which will join the new group in the coming months.

Brown added: “Now we have announced this new step, we are looking forward to being able to share further details in the coming months and announce other restaurant brands joining the Brava Hospitality Group portfolio alongside Prezzo Italian. With every brand that joins us, two things remain the same – our commitment to sustainable high-quality growth, and to preserving the heart of hospitality across every concept we bring to life.”
