If you love seafood, but you’re tired of making the same old thing, try these lemon garlic butter scallops. Meet me in the kitchen. Let’s make it happen. Damn, that’s good. You guys have got to give this one a try. All right, first things first. We’re going to get our prep out of the way. We need to dice one shallot, a little bit of parsley. Next, we’re going to grab our beautiful fresh scallops and remove the side muscle. You don’t have to, but it doesn’t get as tender as the rest of the scallops, so it’s good to remove it. You also want to make sure that they’re super dry so they get a good crust. Season those scallops and set them aside while we start on our sauce. For that, we need to melt some butter. Add some garlic, shallot, parsley, red pepper flakes, lemon juice, and a little dry white wine. Season to taste, and then finish with butter like a damn professional. Set that sauce to the side for a second, and go ahead and sear your scallops in a hot skillet with some olive oil. You’re going to cook these about a minute or so per side until they’re golden brown and beautiful. Then, we’re going to plate them up with the charred lemon and toast points, plus all of that sauce we made, cuz why the hell not? We’re here for a good time, not a long time.
