Also, usually pepperoni rolls are usually made with a hard Italian style bread. I use Challah and swear it is good.
Are you from West Virginia orPennsylvania? lol
I use frozen dinner rolls to make mine and they’re sooooo yummy. I might need to make a batch this weekend.
I’m so sorry for your loss ❤️
So glad you shared though! I have been making challah every week … and my kids are huge fans of pizza in all forms! I know this will be a hit
Thank you for sharing this tribute. It makes me think of a line from John Green’s book, The Anthropocene Reviewed: “I told her what I think is true—that love survives death.”
Love survives death in our stories and our heirlooms and our food.
Raising a glass to your father’s memory, OP. Cheers and strength.
Thanks for sharing looks awesome. Gonna have to try this
You know he’s proud ❤️
So sorry for your loss. Coming up on two years without my dad next month and I’m dreading it.
I did the same with pasta bacon tomato and pecorino a few days ago for his birthday
So, I saw the recipe for Subway Italian herb and cheese bread and think I’ll have to play with that to make these for the family
sorry for your loss, 4 years today for my dad as well. he did spaghetti wednesdays so maybe that’ll be my honoring tonight
Love this! I also was looking for savory roll ideas and this is perfect!
Oh hell yeah! Your dad clearly had superb taste. I’m sorry for your loss. I hope your are doing alright today!
Thank you for sharing this recipe and your dad with us. I’m going to honor him and you by making some of these this weekend 💜
I grew up in WV so it’s nice to see Pepperoni Rolls getting a shout out, even if they look different than the kind I grew up with. 😍😍
I totally get it OP.. My Mom and Grandmother taught me to make bread when I was very, very young. one of my earliest memories ever was kneeling on my grandmother’s kitchen table punching the hell out of bread in a container that I could fit in (I was likely 3 ish).. My kids have a similar memory with my mom. making bread is a way for us to stay connected to both of them since we lost them. Cheers to your Dad.
Looks sooo delicious!! Lovely job🥰🥰❤️
