One business from Northumberland County unveiled a new stand for this year’s fair

Hey Melissa and Stacey, that’s right. Gunsy’s Quality Meats has been coming to the Bloomsburg Fair since 1963, and it’s known for its hot sausage. This year they wanted to upgrade their stand and add something exciting. The grills at Gunsy’s Quality Meat stand are full, getting ready for the day ahead. Gunsy’s is no stranger to the Bloomsburg Fair. The owners have been coming to the fairground since 1963. Co-owner Mark Strauss says they look forward to this each year, get to see people every other year just at this fair. They just come to this fair. They just come to our stand to get, you know, food from us. You know, you’ve come here as a kid, you continue to come. So it’s a traditional fair for us. Gunsy’s is known for its hot. Sausage and Straus says that is their big seller at the fair. We’re known for our hot sausage, so it’s a family recipe and just people come for that. This year at the fair, Gunsy has added this rooftop seating option on top of their new stand. Customers can eat their food and look out at the fair. Strauss says that his son thought of the idea. We got some rooftop seating, so you got to come check it out. You can see the whole entire fair from a different perspective on the top of our stand. — So come get a
— sausage. Gunsy’s also added a dumbwaiter device to send orders up to customers so they don’t have to come downstairs. Strall says they constantly have to adapt and come up with something new each year at the fair. Hopefully we get it popular. It’s called our piggy fry, so it’s our french fries with cheese, our hot sausage, peppers and onions, and we also have a charbroiled 4 ounce rib eye steak. It’s an actual piece of steak. It’s not chopped. Strauss says that they’re they want to continue to grow their business. To find out more information about them, you can head to WNEP.com.
