Local councillor Darren Watt visited Stemar Cafe which is at unit 3 in the Raith Centre.
He popped by at the weekend and said: “It was a pleasure to meet Stefano and Martina, and welcome them to the town at their new café located between the pharmacy and the butchers up by Morrisons.
“I was very impressed with their freshly cooked food, excellent service, and warm hospitality, and would highly recommend paying them a visit.
“I wish them both the very best of luck and every success.”
The cafe is open Monday to Saturday, from 7.30am to 4.30pm, and serves up breakfast soups, rolls, toasties, paninis, pizza and hot and cold drinks.
You can also order online as they provide “tasty takeaways, collections and deliveries”.
