This just arrived. Very heavy. Excited to give it a try. Does anyone have any advice for a newby. It looks like I have to put in the burrs. I may not end up keeping it so let me know if you have any interest in avoiding the wait time.

Just make sure you do the alignment before you grind. Even if there are already burrs installed, just do it again. Better safe than sorry. It’s a cool setup and looks nice on my counter.

I have been waiting for the damn email that gives me the tracking number. It’s been 2 weeks. Why did they send out the first email saying it will be shipped soon if they weren’t going to send it right away lol . I am jelly!
Also curious why you’re already hesitant on keeping it

Did you buy it on spec to resell? There was a lot of that going around until they opened up the ordering.

Did you order an extra set of burrs? They test all grinders before they send them out, so there should be burrs installed. It’s easy to check though. You can see the burrs through the hole where the chute connects.

Yes. I got the brew burrs in addition to the espresso. I also got the slow auger.
The Zerno should have one of the burr sets already installed. Check the zero /chirp and then just start using it. IMO I would not even worry about seasoning. It makes consistently great shots once you dial it in. Super easy to clean and maintain and retention is low. Love mine.
