Week 9 of Baby Bakes 🫒
Baby is the size of an olive! So, I attempted to make an olive focaccia…welp enjoy 😅 Paul Hollywood, please look away
Nine weeks pregnant and taking on the hardest baking challenge yet! This week I’m making olive garlic focaccia, an italian food staple, using an easy recipe. Wish me luck as I discover the wonders of olive oil and garlic health benefits while I learn how to cook!
Hands down the worst thing I’ve ever baked. I’m nine weeks pregnant. Oh my goodness. Halfway through the first trimester, which is great. And baby is the size of an olive. So, we’re going to make olive garlic fkaca bread. Wish me luck. [Music] I prepped the dough yesterday and let it rest overnight. There’s the dough. It’s already starting to bubble. That’s a good sign. So, at 9 weeks, baby has lost their tail and is starting to look more like a baby. little facial features are forming, which is just insane. And they’re starting to grow their intestines and their reproductive systems, which I just Good job, little nugget. Just so proud of them already. Now we wait for an hour. I fell asleep. I get so tired. Okay. So, let’s see how the proof went. [Music] Didn’t really rise. Not all bakes are going to be successful. We’re just going to try our best. A baby’s the size of an olive. That’s cute. [Music] Fail. Epic. Epic fail. So instead, I will just eat a jalapeno stuffed olive. Oh. Ooh, now that’s good. What a humbling day.
