I’m always blown away by how pretty the tins are

Here’s what we enjoyed with toasted white bread and light beer:
Nuri, sardines in spiced tomato sauce – The consensus favorite. Looked great, good texture and an awesome flavour
La Belle Illoise, sardines with olives in olive oil – I don’t usually like olives, but this once was really tasty, the olive taste is not overpowering and worked really well with the sardines
Pinhais, spiced sardines in olive oil – Very good, but hade a very strong taste of clove, which in Sweden where I live is a flavour very strongly associated with Christmas, so it felt a bit out of place. Will try again in December.
La Belle Illoise, tuna and parmesan spread – More of a pate, didn’t look very appealing at all out of the can, but it was excellent on toast. Did not taste of any parmesan though. Quite dry.
La Belle Illoise, sardines in lemon and chili – Did not enjoy this one too much, wasn’t bad but had a strong acidic taste to it.
Any suggestions on what I should do next? I have already placed an order for my Nuri sardine fork…

In my country sardines are scoffed at by most Anglo-Irish people. I am one of them but the others are very stupid and they have malfunctioning taste buds. They are also boring and they eat Vegemite FFS. The range on offer in supermarkets is pitiful at best. I need to find a new country that gives me freedom of choice for my love of sardines. I’m thinking Portugal or Malta. Or Greece.

Looks great! I also like the spiced tomato sauce; u/DreweyD recommended the Pollastrini ones and those have been awesome, too (thanks, u/DreweyD!). Tinned smoked trout is also a fave around here; especially in scrambled eggs w/ creme fraiche and chives.
