Tesco has told shoppers to “plan ahead” in the run up to Christmas after as it urged customer’s to do one thing before November 4 in order to guarantee their festive food.
The major supermarket has revealed it’s new Delivery Saver plan for Christmas 2025 which will offer thousands of extra delivery slots in the weeks running up to Christmas for customers signed up to the plan.
Any shoppers who are signed up to the supermarket’s Anytime Delivery Saver plan or Click+Collect plan will be able to secure a slot from 6 am on November 4, the Express reports.
The store’s Delivery Saver plans offer year-round value and the subscription-based service is tailored to help customers reduce the cost of frequent online grocery shopping.

Tesco will then open up slots for all customers, including those on its Off-peak Delivery Saver plan, at 6am on November 11.
The supermarket offers flexible options either spanning 6 or 12 months, with prices starting from £2.49 per month.

Once enrolled, members can access free home delivery or Click+Collect services without incurring extra fees for booking time slots- although standard minimum basket charges still apply.
Jillian Lidgate, Tesco Online customer director said: “The festive period is a busy time for many as we celebrate those all-important moments with family and friends, from the Christmas dinner trimmings to those special festive party favourites, we’re making it easier than ever before for customers to get everything they need delivered to their door.
“As we help families plan ahead for their Christmas shop, we are excited to be offering thousands of extra slots available in the fortnight leading up to Christmas Day. And there is no better time to sign up to a convenient Delivery Saver plan and benefit from Christmas priority slot bookings.
“Delivery Saver plans not only give you early access to slots this festive season, but they can also save you up to £176 a year on delivery or collection fees.”
