I think it would be more stupid if it was a single sausage that was 1 meter long, at least this means its actually edible as you just break off sausage length bits.
Also needs more onions.

This reminds me of my visit this year to the MN State Fair. One of the stands was selling a foot long corn dog, which looked pretty impressive when fried up.
But by sheer accident, I caught the prep area of the stand as a walked by, and they clearly had multiple hot dogs on a stick prepped up for the batter. I was a bit disillusioned that it wasn’t truly a foot long sausage.
