I promised to update a few of you, but this warranted a post of it's own…

First off, the texture.
Unlike any American ice cream I’ve had. *Incredible*. Soft as velvet and impossibly creamy.
Then the flavor… the base is a subtle, but very true Irish whiskey, not heavy, but evident, no imitation.
And then… *the pockets.*
Little puddles of amber-hued treasure, sweet like honey, releasing a more intense taste of whiskey.
I savored each and every spoonful like it was the first… or the last.
So is it worth it? YES.
Even if you can’t have it often, everyone should experience EMERALD’S, if only once.

I found it to be incredibly sweet and kept throwing away the swirl part. They should have put way less sugar to let the whiskey flavor shine through a bit more.

When did you find this? I’m having flashbacks to my international travels and the food and ice cream that I had.
