For breakfast, I whipped up some classic Chocolate Malt-O-Meal on the stovetop—none of that instant stuff for me, it’s just not the same! The rich, malty goodness takes me right back to childhood. Anyone else out there still savoring this nostalgic treat? Who’s team stovetop vs. instant?

Never heard about it in my entire life
I usually have regular Malt-O-Meal and Coco Wheats in the house. I love them both and they definitely take me back to my childhood. When it’s cold out, there is nothing better than a soup mug full of either one of these cereals.

YES. All-time favorite comfort/childhood nostalgia meal.
Brings me back to Sundays at my parents’ house growing up. 0800, no later because Sunday is “Field Day” with my dad. Malt-o-meal with whole milk over the top, buttered toast, M*A*S*H* reruns, then chores. Sounds rigid, but I remember it fondly.
Slaps. I like it with milk instead of water, and less than it calls for.
They used to have a teddy bear on the back that you could send away for.
I haven’t thought of these in decades wow.
