Something we love about the legacy bakeries is that they know the power of a single-serve snack. Brands like Hostess and Entenmann’s get it—sometimes dessert isn’t about a party, it’s about having a little me time. Even Little Debbie recently rolled out single-serve packs, making it even easier to enjoy your favorite snack cake solo.
Now, Sara Lee is catching on, too. We’ve always been fans of its iconic pies, cheesecakes, and pound cakes, but those are desserts that are almost required to be shared. This new launch is different: a dessert made for one fork, one cozy couch, and one sweet second to yourself.
Sara Lee’s New Sweet Moments Fruit Cobblers
This season, Sara Lee is answering the comfort-food call with three new personal-sized cobblers. The Sweet Moments collection gives you the flavor and warmth of homemade fall baking without the work…or even the oven.
Each cobbler cup is filled with real fruit and topped with a golden, buttery crumble for a homemade taste and texture. They stay frozen until you’re ready to enjoy, and can be eaten thawed, microwaved, or baked, depending on how quickly you wish to dig in.
The flavors include:
Berry Bliss Fruit Cobbler Cup: a jammy blend of strawberries, blueberries, and raspberries topped with buttery crumble
Salted Caramel Peach Fruit Cobbler Cup: made with real peaches and rich salted caramel for a balanced sweet-and-salty bite
Orchard Apple Cinnamon Fruit Cobbler Cup: tender cooked apples with warm cinnamon spice, finished with the classic crumble
Fans are already eager to try them out: “I’m going to need those peach and berry crumbles!” one person raved. “I hope that salted caramel peach cobbler is as good as it sounds,” added another.
Each box comes with two single-serve cups, so you can share one (or save the second one for tomorrow’s lunch box). Either way, you can find all three cobbler flavors now at Walmart and other retailers for $4.48 per package.
Fall always brings on the craving for something baked and sweet, and Sara Lee makes it too easy to give in. You don’t need to wait until the next potluck to get your sweet fix in. All you need is 60 seconds and a spoon—no sharing required.
