Italian cuisine was voted Brazilians’ favorite, according to the website Taste Atlas, known for its world gastronomy ranking.
Receiving a score of 4,65, classic dishes such as pizza, lasagna and parmigiana are the most popular in Brazil.
Although Italian cuisine took first place in the ranking, Brazilian cuisine is right behind, with a score of 4,61.
National delicacies such as picanha, cheese bread and barbecue are among the most celebrated dishes.
