Las Vegas is taking bold action to attract visitors back to the iconic desert city with the launch of its Fabulous 5-Day Sale, offering unbeatable deals across hotels, dining, spas, and entertainment. The city aims to boost visitor numbers by making luxury experiences more accessible, with discounts of up to 50% on hotels, waived resort fees, free parking, and special spa offers starting at $99. This strategic campaign comes in response to a recent decline in tourism and is designed to reignite interest among leisure travelers, first-time visitors, and locals alike, while showcasing Las Vegas as a world-class destination for entertainment, hospitality, and unforgettable experiences.

Running from September 22 to September 26, the campaign features over 100 exclusive deals available to travelers through the city’s official tourism website. Offers include up to 50% off hotel accommodations, waived resort fees, complimentary parking, and $99 spa treatments at select resorts and venues across Las Vegas.

Once a magnet for millions of visitors each year, Las Vegas has recently seen a notable downturn in tourism. While the city remains a global hub for gambling, entertainment, and nightlife, industry data shows a 7.3% drop in visitor numbers during the first half of this year compared to the same period last year. June was especially challenging, with an 11% year-over-year decline in total arrivals.

In response, tourism authorities and major hospitality brands have teamed up for a city-wide sales blitz that spans luxury resorts, entertainment venues, restaurants, and spas.

Major Hotel Deals and Perks

Some of the city’s best-known resorts are rolling out limited-time offers to entice visitors with value-packed experiences:

The Venetian Resort and The Palazzo are offering up to 33% off suite bookings, along with perks such as a $50 cocktail credit, more than $300 in dining discounts, up to $100 in spa credits, and buy-one-get-one-free gondola rides.Treasure Island Las Vegas is advertising deluxe rooms starting at $99 per night (Sunday through Thursday) with an additional $30 daily resort credit and no resort fees.On the Fremont Street side of town, Golden Nugget Las Vegas is removing its nightly resort fee, saving guests more than $50 per night, in addition to offering other exclusive savings.

These offers are part of a wider push to make Las Vegas more accessible and affordable for both returning visitors and first-timers.

Deals for Locals Too

While much of the campaign is geared toward tourists, local residents aren’t being left out. Participating hotel and casino properties are extending discounts of 25% off food and beverages, free parking, and 15% off hotel bookings for Nevada residents. In some cases, these perks are valid through March 2026, giving locals a longer runway to enjoy their hometown attractions.

Addressing the Tourism Slump

The tourism slowdown in Las Vegas is part of a broader trend influenced by several economic and social factors. Rising prices for accommodations, dining, and entertainment have made travel more expensive for many. At the same time, a decline in international flights—especially from Canada and other countries—has reduced the volume of incoming travelers.

Another key factor is the rapid rise of sports betting apps and online gambling platforms, which allow users to place bets or play casino games from anywhere. As a result, fewer gamblers feel compelled to travel to Las Vegas, especially when the same experiences can now be accessed from home.

The slump has also taken a toll on the city’s business tourism sector. Convention attendance dropped 10.7% in June, compared to the same month in 2024. According to hospitality data sources, other indicators were also down, including room inventory (-2.3%), average daily rates (-6.6%), revenue per available room (RevPAR) (-13.8%), and occupied room nights (-9.7%).

A Strategic Bet on Value

By launching this five-day mega-sale, Las Vegas is aiming to reposition itself as a destination that still delivers world-class entertainment and hospitality—at a price point more travelers can afford.

Tourism officials are hopeful that this initiative will generate renewed interest in the city and reestablish Las Vegas as a top-of-mind destination for leisure, events, and getaways.
