I work for a big company that makes a bunch of different crap. In industry there is a term known as “consumer education” basically gotta teach people how to use product or to announce a change. so like laundry soap pods when they came out were cutting edge but the commercial still showcased “hey open lid, drop one in, boom here you go”. any new product its good to have some sort of good advertisement to explain useage.
in this case they designed something that could be popular. its silly but I could see it working. they even showed the wrong way to eat it. all they were missing was the recommended way or less messy way.
so their head was in the right place just execution was flawed.

2. You use a straw to drink from the top, then eat it.
3. You stick the straw in your mouth and puncture the bottom of the donuffee, emptying it into your gullet like you’d change your car’s oil.
3. You tongue through the bottom and shotgun the donuffee.
4. You shove the entire thing in your mouth, choke, and die.
5. You pour it into an actual cup and never mix these two again.
