    Recipe: For the bacon jam, Sautee half a pack of bacon, cut into small pieces, until crispy. Remove from the pan. Leave 2 tablespoons of bacon grease in the pan and add in 1 chopped large onion. Sautee 10-12 minutes and add half a diced jalapeno. Sautee for another 5 minutes. Add 1 tablespoon of maple syrup and some cracked black pepper. For your burger patties, roll your ground beef into balls, place some sliced jalapenos on top, then smash thin into patties, and let get crispy. Flip and top with cheese. Place them in the oven to keep warm while you do the rest.

    Grill or toast your buns, and spread on a thin layer of cream cheese on each side. Add your bacon jam and your patties.

    I really liked it with ketchup. My husband preferred it without, so it’s good either way!

    I would do awful things for these but since you posted the recipe I guess I can just make them.
