i’d take a case of the Le Petit Ducru and the La Croix Ducru for 30 is absurdly good value. , Ironically the Aurora de Dauzac is $3 higher per bottle than my costco’s regular price.

Costco must have taken a bath on 21 Bordeaux’s . Poor vintage and they sat on them for so much longer than 20. They are still everywhere.

There is some misleading advertising there James Suckling is notorious for giving inflated scores. Also comments about other recent vintages are not very relevant. There is a Bordeaux glut at the moment.

The 21s are marked down heavily in Scottsdale as well. Conseillante for $130, Pichon Baron for $100, Troplong-Mondot for $50, among many others. I figured at the price I would try some – I’ve been disappointed in the wines over and over. No depth, thin mouthfeel, it’s bad. I’ve found very few things I want more of.
That said, 2020 Sociando-Mallet you should buy at least 6 of at that price. They haven’t marked that one down in Scottsdale yet.
