All right, let’s be honest. People talk a lot of about Alfredo, but it’s still one of the best comfort foods on the planet. Meet me in the kitchen. Let’s make it happen. First things first, no jarred sauce allowed. Now that we got that out of the way, let’s go ahead and season up our chicken breast. For that, I’m using AP and Lemon Bay. Fire up that beautiful skillet, and then we’re going to add a little oil. Sear our chicken breast until it’s golden brown and beautiful. Then, flip it over and baste it in butter the way the good Lord intended. Go ahead and finish that chicken in the oven. Now, it’s time to get started on the sauce. For that, we need some butter, one shallot, some garlic. Hit that with a little AP. Then we’re going to add our heavy cream. Season that with my buttery garlic pepper seasoning and some Cajun. Add plenty of parmesan cheese, plus that cooked fetuccini. Now, it’s time to cut our chicken and plate this up. That chicken breast is absolutely perfect. First, we’re going down with a mound of that pasta, plus a little extra sauce, cuz why the hell not? We’re here for a good time, not a long time. Brace yourself for a trademark money shot. Say it with me, guys. Looking good. Everything you need is in the caption. And now it’s your turn to make it happen.

  4. I grew up in Philly surrounded by first gen immigrant families, and we were so poor and my mom always worked so she would send us to the neighbors so we could at least eat a good meal everyday. So I grew up eating the most delicious meals, but I never actually learned to cook since it wasnโ€™t my family cooking. So I finally started learning.
My first attempt at a whole family meal for 8 was chicken Alfredo. The meat was seasoned and cooked perfectly, the noodles was A-1โ€ฆ but – damn the store bought sauce. I learned my lesson. I bought a basil Alfredo. And my dumb self never tasted it prior to it being time to serve. I thought- itโ€™s basil! What could go wrong! Well..The sauce was the most strongest potent basil Iโ€™ve ever had in my life. Something wasnโ€™t right. It was horrible. I ruined the whole damn meal because the sauce was disgusting. My Mother in Law and bro tried to politely eat it and tell me it was goodโ€ฆ I knew it wasnโ€™t. My ultimate answer- my husband who can be way too brutal when it comes to his honesty.. told me it was dog shit. It was unanimous that everything else was good but the sauce was so damn bad no one could eat it. I was so upset!
I am going to try this meal againโ€ฆ but follow your NO STORE bought sauce recipe! Imma put my whole foot in it.. I gotta redeem myself ๐Ÿ˜…

  5. Yes itโ€™s the best! It still amazes me that jarred Alfredo is still sold. Itโ€™s soooo bad.

You say we're here for a good time, not a long time. I used to feel the same way, until I started having health problems in my early 40"s with young kids.

  9. If you get a chance to do a sauce comparison, I wonder how a roux with parm reggiano and some mozz for texture would compare to your heavy cream sauce
